Tip 1: Don't be honest

This blog is designed to tell you how I live without spending hardly any money.

I am married to Mick and we live in a different country to the UK although we used to live in the UK and now we don't live in the UK, OK?

We built up a lot of debt by living wildly and free and then because we  couldn't borrow any more money we thought 'shit' we should stop spending too much money and start to pay it back.

Then we lived like misers and payed off some of the money we owed.

Then we had a huge inheritance, paid it all off and bought a house not in the UK.  I tell you that I don't live in the UK quite a lot.  OK?

But I never tell people that I got the cash that way.

And that's my first tip to living like a tight-arse:  don't be honest about getting and having a big wadge of cash.  People think more of you when they think you sit in a house around a candle.
